The opportunity
At Unity, the world is a better place with more creators in it. We want to make it easier for game developers to build, test, and publish their games. Creators should be able to spend more time focused on delivering immersive experiences and less time on the mechanics of software development.
Our team has two main focuses, the first one is on Unity’s build systems inside and outside of our engine. We are passionate about making the Unity engine more reliable and easier to use for external and internal developers. The second one is on the compilation pipeline of the user code, our work is directly impacting all Unity customers, aiming to give them the best experience.
We are looking for a passionate candidate who can tackle varied and complex challenges and is eager to learn new things, We want you to join us on our journey to make Unity's build system excellent, improving its performance, scalability, maintainability, and user experience, always trying to provide both internal and external developers with the best user experience possible.
An ideal candidate will be collaborative by nature, with excellent communication skills, able to engage with a large user base. This person is adaptable, open to learning, and approaches new tasks with enthusiasm. They enjoy solving problems and see challenges as opportunities for growth.
