Senior Game Designer (Supersonic)

The opportunity

Unity is hiring a Senior Game Designer to join the New Game team at Supersonic.

Our Gaming team consists of casual gaming experts, divided into two core teams: the 'New' games team, dedicated to supporting our global game development studio partners in creating and launching new hit games, and the 'Live' games team, committed to managing and growing our existing top games.

We're seeking a visionary game designer with a proven track record in the Casual gaming industry—a passionate individual driven by ambition and innovation. As a Senior Game Designer, you'll own the game design aspect of our Hybrid/Casual games, overseeing the end-to-end process of building and launching chart-topping games with partner studios. This role offers a unique opportunity to take a strategic role in building our most innovative and highest potential games, influencing strategic decisions, and delivering exceptional mobile gaming experiences to millions of users worldwide.

To succeed in this role, you have to breathe the casual market and support our partners to lead innovative decisions based on your knowledge, expertise, and data. You will work closely with the publishing managers, market research, product, economy, BA, and monetization teams.

What you'll be doing

• Cooperate with publishing managers, monetization teams, live game teams to define the vision of the game.
• Own all aspects of the game’s design: core gameplay, meta and monetization features.
• Based on the game’s iteration goals, you’ll be responsible for developing the design document and roadmap to answer the game's pain points and growth opportunities.
• Execute the design roadmap with the development team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience in game design within top casual free2play mobile games - a must.
• Strong design abilities in system, economy and user experience. Natural sense for puzzle level design.
• Excellent product sense for casual or hybrid games
• Strong analytical skills, multitasking, and prioritizing ability.
• Good writting and reading skills in English.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
