What you’ll be doing
- Crafting React components using a MaterialUI-backed Design System, while supporting junior developers in their craft
- Collaborating with Engineering Managers, Technical Program Managers and Product Owners to drive for impact across related teams like Community and Documentation.
- Learn, collaborate, and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the industry.
- Solve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity for your team whilst exerting significant influence on the overall vision and long-range goals of your team.
- Shepherd the definition and improvement of our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
What we’re looking for
- JAMStack Proficiency: Git, Typescript, React, Storybook, NextJS, RESTful APIs or similar.
- Hands-on experience optimizing web applications for speed and performance, ensuring smooth interactions and low-latency responses.
- Collaboration with back-end engineers to shape the evolution of the API to meet front-end feature needs seamlessly.
- Conduct code reviews, participate in feedback rounds and maintain code quality and security standards.
- Familiarity with consuming Figma designs as a developer
