Role Description

The opportunity

We seek a skilled IT SOX Compliance Lead to join Unity’s IT team, based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance related to IT controls. You will work closely with IT teams, management, and auditors to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify  IT risks / controls relevant to financial reporting, ensuring they are designed and operating effectively.
  • Implement, monitor and assess the readiness of IT controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT controls, including data flow diagrams.
  • Advise and support IT systems owners to ensure effective control performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide support and information..
  • Educate IT staff on SOX compliance requirements and best practices. Keep abreast of changes in the Unity IT environment as well as in SOX regulations and industry standards.

What we're looking for

  • Familiarity with relevant local employment laws and regulations within your country.
  • Flexibility and openness to changing priorities.
  • Experience with delivering process improvements
  • Highly organized and analytical approach to work

You might also have

  • Certification such as e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP.
  • Experience with IT audit tools and software.
  • Experience with controls automation
