Role Description

The Opportunity  

We are seeking a Head of Long tail, Director level, to lead and drive growth within Unity’s Grow business. This role is critical to scaling our Mass Market offerings by optimizing Ad monetization and UA across Unity Ads, IronSource Ads, LevelPlay, and Tapjoy. The ideal candidate will lead the charge in developing innovative products, processes, and solutions to unlock growth opportunities across gaming and beyond, with a focus on delivering exceptional value through strategic automation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team focused on prospect identification, onboarding, client engagement, up-sales, and growth automation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability, ensuring that the team continuously develops cutting-edge products and processes to meet business needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Salesforce and Business Intelligence teams to align on strategic growth objectives and deliver seamless execution of innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with developer support and data teams to ensure scalable solutions that remain tailored to customer needs and drive long-term engagement.

Strategic Growth Execution:  

  • Identify and execute innovative product offerings, processes, and strategies to accelerate Mass Market growth within the gaming sector and beyond.
  • Lead efforts to scale and automate solutions while maintaining a personalized customer experience through advanced onboarding and engagement strategies.

Performance Accountability:

  • Establish clear growth metrics, monitor KPIs, and ensure the timely delivery of strategic goals.
  • Continuously refine processes and strategies based on data-driven insights to unlock additional growth potential.

Resource and Budget Management: 

  • Work closely with finance and operations to manage resources, capacity planning, and budget to ensure the team’s objectives are fully supported.

Customer-Centric Innovation: 

  • Develop customer support processes that leverage both personalized and scalable solutions, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding through growth and up-sales.
  • Implement automated marketing and value creation strategies that enhance engagement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Team Management:

  • Proven experience in building, managing, and scaling cross-functional teams focused on growth and customer success.

Ad-Tech Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem, particularly in supply and demand management for Unity Ads, IronSource Ads, LevelPlay, and Tapjoy.

Innovation and Growth Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing innovative growth strategies for large-scale, mass-market audiences.

Global Team Experience:

  • Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment across time zones and functions.

Data-Driven Leadership:

  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to optimize processes, develop innovative solutions, and drive strategic decision-making.
