Unity Grow team builds advertising and personalized content delivery solutions used in hundreds of thousands of apps. Our platform processes extensive data sets that are used by machine learning systems living in the core of our various products. Different deep learning techniques are revolutionizing automated decision-making systems and Unity is riding the front wave. In Demand Performance, we develop groundbreaking machine learning centric products. They provide millions of predictions for recommendations each and every second to optimize efficiency and profitability of user acquisition advertising campaigns. Today we are looking for a staff data scientist to complement our outstanding team! You will have a critical role by driving the ML strategy, envisioning novel deep learning solutions and influencing multiple data science teams that build, ship, and operate machine learning powered solutions. This is an excellent chance to create impact by building data and innovative machine learning methods for the benefit of the game development communities.

What you'll be doing

• Drive Unity’s user acquisition product from machine learning point of view in close collaboration with other data scientists, product managers and engineers.
• Envision and build state of the art machine learning methods to revolutionize personalized user acquisition advertisement for mobile gaming.
• Design, implement and drive the development of deep learning and online personalized targeting solutions with tech stack of Python/Spark/Tensorflow/Keras/Pytorch.
• Enable the DS teams to develop and ship high quality ML-based real-time online decision-making systems on a large scale.
• Convey ideas, guide execution and mentor teams to grow their talent to build extraordinary machine learning solutions.

What we're looking for

• Deep understanding of machine learning, from concepts to implementation.
• Experience in implementing varied data and machine learning based online decision-making systems on a large scale.
• Experience with ownership of machine learning products and infrastructure with large data sets, ETLs, data engineering and related services.
• Experience unlocking business opportunities through state of the art ML development.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the company to influence people across the organization.

You might also have

• Experience in game advertising or monetization.
• Relevant academic background.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
