Role Description

The opportunity

As our new Compensation Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting the Compensation team. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with your direct manager and team to deliver accurate and effective compensation solutions tailored to the unique needs of the business. You will be responsible for analysing and evaluating compensation issues, providing recommendations, and contributing to the overall success of the team. Your ability to understand both ground-level and big-picture perspectives will be crucial in addressing uncommon and inconsistent customer compensation needs and translating them into actionable solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Support our Compensation team with all aspects of compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, equity, and executive compensation.
  • Conduct the quarterly equity audit ahead of each board meeting OR corporate bonus accruals process throughout the year.
  • Provide guidance to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related inquiries and assist with ad-hoc analyses for new hires, promotions, and current employees, aligning with Unity’s compensation philosophy.
  • Maintain and enhance Workday and job architecture frameworks, while supporting internal tool development.
  • Assist in creating communication and training materials, and conduct analyses on gender pay reporting and benchmarking.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in Compensation.
  • Familiarity with equity compensation.
  • Comfortable using Excel / GoogleSheets including index+match, vlookup, pivot tables, nested IF statements, tables / visualizations, data cleansing and auditing techniques.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data from complex datasets.
  • Flexibility and openness to changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within set timeframes, and comfort working independently while seeking guidance when needed.

You might also have

  • Experience in a global tech company.
  • Experience with Radford, WTW or Mercer market data.
  • A CCP, GRP or CECP WorldatWork certification.
