Role Description

The opportunity
The Production Reliability Engineering (PRE) team is dedicated to managing the tools and services that Unity teams rely on to build efficient cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will focus on managing the critical infrastructure tools used across Unity. You’ll work with all three major cloud hosting providers (GCP, Azure, and AWS) to help build and optimize CI/CD processes, incident management, observability, infrastructure as code, and networking.

Being part of this team, you will play a key role in establishing and growing the product management discipline within PRE, fostering strong relationships with your engineering partners and customers across Unity.

By serving as the crux of helping our teams prioritize the most valuable work, you will enable Unity engineers and game developers to create amazing games more efficiently and creatively.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives through working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with engineering to define user flows, use cases, product requirements, and contribute to the overall vision.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with executives, engineering, product management, program management and throughout the organization.
  • Identify opportunities and feature requests through regular engagement with customers, prospects, and partners, in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Continuously monitor the health of your product and establish metrics and success criteria focused on customer outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated success in product management role focusing on complex products or services.
  • Experience leading products and features that involve multiple teams and time zones.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and discuss technical requirements with engineering and data science teams.
  • Familiarity with API management platforms, event-driven architecture, and public cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS).

You might also have

  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Developer skills are a plus but not required.
