The opportunity

Are you a hardworking, motivated individual who is passionate about helping to craft the future of our ever-growing Japan’s games business?

As the leading real-time development platform for gaming, interactive 3D design visualization, AR and VR, at Unity, we help to bring creations of all kinds to life faster than ever before. You will be bringing to market solutions that help Game Industry customers.

You will chip in to drive growth by influencing the strategic direction of the regional business, ensuring roadmaps and plans deliver value to our users across the Unity ecosystem, building and executing regional GTM plans.

What you’ll be doing
  • Define the go-to-market strategy for Japan with a selection of game tools and services, own the cross functional execution across the regional organization and broader marketing organization.
  • Conduct research and interview customers to develop first-hand knowledge of their needs, motivations, and problems
  • Partner with regional sales teams to build effective sales enablement tools. As well as collaborating with broader marketing and product/engineering organizations, to help define regional needs for global products based on market opportunity, customer needs, and other insights.
  • Stay on top of product technologies and deep understanding of its layers, ability to integrate that into positioning and a clear value proposition
  • Collaborate with content marketing and demand generation, technical marketing, events, social, digital marketing, PR to define the marketing assets to target users and drive the pipeline
  • Position the product to build significant differentiation in the regional market relative to competition
  • Understand product technologies several layers deep and be able to clearly synthesize into powerful messaging that resonates with the customer
What we’re looking for
  • Understanding of Japan game development lifecycle, and customer demands during different stages of development
  • Experience with working closely with product management or engineering teams from an in-bound marketing perspective
  • Ability of rapidly grasp sophisticated technical details and potential use cases for technology/innovation across a wide spectrum technology domain
  • Proven track record of positively influence and bring people together across all functional areas of an organization from product to sales
  • Detail-orientated proactive/self-starter with outstanding project management and collaborative skills
You might also have
  • Background in professional game development experience in console or mobile platforms.
  • Background in B2B game middleware tools or services.
  • Experience in e-commerce/digital sales
  • B2B SaaS experience in launched products (both subscription and consumption), and leading the GTM plan from start to finish

  • 製品技術と技術レイヤーに対する深い理解に基づき、ポジショニングと明快な価値の提案につなげる
  • コンテンツマーケティング、需要創出、テクニカルマーケティング、イベント、ソーシャル、デジタルマーケティング、PRなどの部隊と協働してマーケティング資産の定義を行い、ユーザーをターゲティングしてパイプラインを動かす
  • 製品のポジショニングを行い、担当地域の市場において競合との明確な差異化を行う
  • 製品技術を何層にもわたって深く理解し、その理解を発信するメッセージに調和させ、顧客に響く力強いメッセージの発信を行う。


  • 日本におけるゲーム開発のライフサイクルと、開発のさまざまな局面における顧客の要望を理解していること
  • インバウンドマーケティングの視点を持って、製品マネジメントまたはエンジニアリングチームと緊密に連携して働いた経験
  • 幅広い技術領域にわたり、複雑な技術の詳細や、技術およびイノベーションの潜在的なユースケースを素早く理解する能力
  • 製品開発から営業まで、組織のすべての部門・領域にいる人たちにプラスの影響を与え、協働させた実績
  • 卓越したプロジェクト管理スキルとコラボレーションスキルを持ち、細部まで気を配って能動的に、セルフスターターとして動けること


  • コンソールまたはモバイルプラットフォームで、職業としてゲーム開発に携わった経験
  • B2Bのゲームミドルウェアツールまたはサービスに携わった経験.
  • e-コマースおよびデジタルセールスの経験
  • 運営中の製品におけるB2B SaaS活用の経験(サブスクリプションおよび消費ベース)、および最初から最後までGTMプランを先導した経験
