We are looking for a motivated student with a passion for Graphics programming to join the Unity Low-Level Graphics team in Helsinki. You will be working with future DOTS rendering technology (Burst C#) and existing Unity’s low level (C++) graphics code, including interfacing with modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan and Metal. Our team has a performance-oriented mindset. We will guide you to use various tools and techniques to analyze and fix the performance bottlenecks encountered in modern games.

Responsibilities 

  • Be involved in implementing rendering features for multiple platforms.
  • Be involved in DOTS rendering technology development.
  • Gain experience in software testing and documentation practices.
  • Profile, analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks in existing rendering code.

Requirements

  • Currently studying in a relevant subject such as Computer Science or Games and looking for an internship 
  • Experience in C# and/or C++ programming.
  • Experience in some modern graphics API, such as DirectX 12, Vulkan and Metal.
  • Experience working on shaders (GLSL and/or HLSL).

Bonus Points

  • Experience of code profiling and optimization.
  • Experience of Unity game development.
