Role Description

The opportunity

Unity is seeking a Senior Product Manager (MDM) to join our corporate Data Governance team. As a member of the Corporate Data and Analytics organization, you will play a key role in helping Unity achieve its vision towards a connected data ecosystem. In this position, you will work across various teams to lead and deliver the Master Data Management program mandate. To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of strong leadership, technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. What you'll be doing

  • Improving the quality, consistency and standardization of master data by owning and delivering a scalable and robust MDM solution.
  • Working closely with data engineering, systems architecture and business operations teams to design requirements and deliver on implementation plans.
  • Initiating and driving forward projects to define and align team members on master and reference entity data elements.
  • Identifying and working with partners to resolve data integrity and quality problems stemming from systems, process, or integration activities.
  • Promoting and communicating program progress plans and work you're doing to the data community.

What we're looking for

  • Senior experience in leading and delivering sophisticated MDM solutions preferably within large enterprises.
  • Hands-on technical background and expertise with MDM functionality including: data matching (deterministic, probabilistic, AI), ESB, SOA Data connectors, enterprise data models, etc.
  • Solid grasp of applying Data Governance principles and best-practices in concert with MDM implementations.
  • Highly effective in aligning and influencing partners towards a common vision and fulfillment of program goals; structured, organized, and meticulous in project planning and work tracking.
  • Ability to overcome and implement autonomously in the face of organizational challenges.

You might also have

  • Experience working with MDM software vendors such as Informatica or Reltio. Familiarity with Collibra data governance software.
  • Technical ability to query data sets using BigQuery and architecting data models.
  • Background in gaming industry, SaaS software, or high growth tech sector.
