The opportunity
Join the innovative and expanding team at Unity-Aura, a groundbreaking large-scale mobile platform that serves a wide variety of content, including news articles, games, videos, and more. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure our content discovery platform delivers a seamless experience to millions of users. At Unity, you will be part of a dynamic team that combines Android development, backend services, and machine learning into a unified, complex system. What you'll be doing
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, business intelligence, and UI/UX designer teams to define and execute test plans and cases.
- Participate in the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to post-deployment verification.
- Conduct regression, functional, performance, and usability testing.
- Perform exploratory testing to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple devices and platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with mobile applications, preferably with Android apps.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as TestRail, Charles Proxy, and others.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
You might also have
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation.
- Experience with performance testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
